WE ARE OFFICIALLY A HEALTHY SCHOOL!

In June 2023, we had our Healthy Schools' validation visit and we achieved our award. We are extremely proud of our hard-work and commitment to Healthy Schools - it is a thread which runs throughout every aspect of our school life. This has been recognised by the Health and Wellbeing team who said: 'Everyone is warm and welcoming at this school. As well as achieving our Healthy Schools' status, we also gained the following:

Much of our curriculum and day-to-day learning is based around the four main Healthy School areas of:

Personal, Social, Health Education (PSHE)

Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH)

Physical Activity

Healthy Eating

You will find our passion for healthy living throughout everything we do. Through classroom lessons; themed days and weeks; Pupil Voice; breaktimes (Friendship Sessions); parent workshops (HENRY) and wider school life we aim to educate our families about the value of living a healthy life. Take a look at each page to find out more about how we encourage this message.
