Our Reading Newsletters

Our KS2 Library Leaders are responsible for running the whole school library and helping others develop a love of reading. 

Reading Responsibilities include: 

1. Encouraging reading for pleasure for all. 
2. Supporting younger children with their reading. 
3. Organising reading events. 
4. Organising books swaps and book fairs. 
5. Raising money to fund new books. 

Library responsibilities include:

1. Stamping and bar-coding new books for the school library and class libraries.
2. Making sure books are put back on the shelves in the correct place. 
3. Helping children find the right books for them. 
4. Scanning books to be issued and returned to the school library. 
5. Organising book swaps and book fairs. 
6. Purchasing new books for our library areas in school.
